Can you make a custom map for me?

We encourage users to use FetchGIS or the Interactive Map Portal for free custom mapping. If you require our staff to create a map, we can print directly from our tools for $10.00 each. For high-level custom mapping, our service rate is $60.00/hour ($60.00 minimum). For large format printing, we recommend patronizing local print shops.

How do I find Easements on my property?

The GIS Department does not map easements. To research easements, we recommend the following steps:

  • Property Deed: Check for mentions of easements on your recorded deed.
  • Property Survey: Review an official survey for boundary access rights.
  • Register of Deeds: Contact the office to search recorded maps or records.
  • Plat/Condo Maps: Check the Plat & Condo Maps page.
  • Utilities & Title Companies: Contact utility providers or hire a title company for a full search.

Can I download County GIS data for my own use?

Yes. Most of our GIS data is free to download. We believe in empowering our users rather than hoarding data. Visit our GIS Data page to fill out a request form.

Where can I get USGS Topo Maps?

Topographic maps are available for free download directly from the USGS Website.
