Traffic civil infractions, and minor traffic misdemeanor offenses are handled by the Traffic Division. You may schedule an Informal Hearing with the Traffic Clerk or pay preset fines in this division daily.

Online Payments - Traffic Citations

Traffic citations can be made through the St. Joseph County, MI Government Payment Express (GovPayNet) portal. You will find information on fees and payment instructions on the following page:

Request Your Own Driving Record - Secretary of State

You can purchase your own certified driving record for $8.00 at any branch office. Simply show your driver's license (no form required) and walk out with your record in hand. All offices accept cash and checks. Plus offices and SUPER!Centers also accept Discover and MasterCard.

Walk-in request for another person's record can be picked up the next business day. A $7.00 fee is charged for each record transaction.

Note: In certain circumstances, the record request may take longer to process. Walk-in record requests for another person's driving or vehicle record can ONLY be accepted and processed at the Secondary Complex.
