The Commission on Aging (COA) provides services to older adults 60 or older or anyone married to someone 60 or older. The COA provides services in the home, in the community and at its two Enrichment Centers, which are in Three Rivers and Sturgis.

Our Residential Services include in-home aides that can assist with light housekeeping and personal care, as well as respite care. We also have a chore worker that can help with larger tasks in the home.

Our Nutrition Department provides a Noon meal Monday through Friday at its centers and on Fridays at Kline’s Resort. Members also can purchase coupons to local restaurants to allow them to eat out at a reduced rate. The Department also delivers meals to the homebound.

In our centers, we offer a wide array of activities, including exercise classes, arts and crafts, trips, games, and many other programs for the members to enjoy. Both centers have fitness rooms, a pool table, computers, and a lending library available for members.

The COA also provides:

  • Counseling for seniors with questions about Medicaid and Medicare
  • A Medical Loan Closet
  • Information and referrals for seniors for any programs or services the COA cannot provide
  • Independent Senior Living Located at our Three Rivers Center
