FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Centreville Courthouse to Close Early on June 19 for Scheduled Electrical Work
CENTREVILLE, Mich. — The St. Joseph County Centreville Courthouse will close to the public at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, June 19, 2026, and will resume normal business hours at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, June 22, 2026.
The temporary closure is necessary to accommodate work associated with the ongoing Courts Building renovation. As part of the project, a scheduled electrical switch-over will require a power outage within the building. To ensure the safety of staff and the public, operations for that facility will conclude at 3:30 p.m. on June 19.
The early closure will affect offices located within the Centreville Courthouse, including District Court, the Prosecutor’s Office, Information Technology (IT), Veterans Affairs, the County Clerk/Register of Deeds, and the Treasurer’s Office.
Sincerely,
Erin Goff
County Administrator
