The Juvenile Division handles matters involving youth under the age of 18, focused on protection and rehabilitation.
Juvenile Delinquency: Offenses committed by youth under 18 years of age.
Status Offenses: Includes matters of incorrigibility, runaway behavior, and truancy.
Neglect/Abuse: Cases involving the safety and welfare of children under 18.
Personal Protection: Protection cases involving minors within the family court system.
Judge Kevin Kane also serves as the Probate Judge for St. Joseph County.
